Day 16 - 10 days to go

Hello folk!


So, in this past week I had a lot of work, I didn't foolow my diet as I should, I couldn't always go to run... In fact it was a very bad week from that point of view.
Lets come to the point:
This morning I was: 54 kg; B:85; W: 64: H: 94; T: 52.
Last week I was: 54 kg; B: 85; W: 64; H: 94; T: 53.


Not so much changed, but at least a I lost 1 cm on my thighs, which is great! I still have no idea how to get rid of my bud. Apparently it is completely immune to all my specific exercises! I'm building up more muscles on the arms which I barely train than on my ass! That's soooo disappointing!


Just to remember how I was, when I got here: 58.2 kg; B-89.5; W-68.5; H-96; T-57.


So far I lost 4 kg, unfortunately 4.5 cm of Breast circumference, fortunately 4.5 cm on the waist, 2 on the hips (you see, this bloody ass!), and 5 at the thighs!
Let's see what this last week will bring (which will be full of goodbye dinners.. so, I have no idea how I manage to loose the last kg...).

Day 8 - 16 days to go

Hello Dears!


So, yesterday I went out for running. A good half an hour and I was not tired at all at the end. I did my leg exercises and then I had to hurry to go out for dancing.. So I couldn't do my entire workout.
I also had 3 meals: breakfast (papaya with cereals and yogusrt), lunch (chicken with a little bit of rice, legumes and  water lemon) and dinner (sushi.. <3 ). Unfortunately one of the girls of the lab where I'm working made a super delicious chocolate cake. I couldn't resist. And after dancing, at 4 o clock in the morning, I was soo hungry that i went to eat two slices of pizza. I'm definitively not strength enough, I know.. :-(


Today I'm gonna do the leg exercises with the you-tube videos, and then I'll have to be ready do go to play snooker. But tomorrow I HAVE to do my whole workout. At least I lost 1 kg in this last 8 days, which is already a step toward my ideal weight! :-)
On the menu today: my müesli with fruits and yogurt and then... who knows, as I'm going out. I'll surely try to avoid junk food. 


Now to my measurements, compared to last week: 


today: 54kg, B: 85, W: 64, H: 94, T: 53.
last week: 55kg, B:85.5, W: 64, H: 94.5, T: 53.5.

Day 6 - 18 days to go

Hello Dears!


Yesterday it was the first day I was not able to do my entire workout program. And also today I was not able to go out for the running, but I'll start my exercises as soon as I'm finished here.


On Tuesday I had the whole morning to do sports, it was great! I went to a park near to my home to go to run. It was nice to run somewhere where other people are sweating too! ;-) However, I have to admit that I feel tired much sooner if I run in circles (the park is only about 2 km). After running for 20 min and walking for other 40 min, I went back home to do my exercises. 
I still follow Rumianallieva on youtube for my leg exercises. 
I tried to improve my sit ups by trying to combine the chest movements with the leg movements (get up with the chest and the legs on the same time), but as I have no carpet on the floor and the floor is too hard, I really cannot do this kind of exercise. So I keep doing normal sit ups, lateral ones and lower ones separately. At least 25 per kind and side. 
My push ups definitively suck, but I have hope I'll get better with training (I manage to do max 20... and the easy ones, with the knees on the floor..). 
I also use to do some exercises for my hips by bending myself on one side and getting back up.


Yesterday I went out for running. I did the same tour as I used to do in the beginning around the campus. I actually went farer away, as I was not tired at all. After 20 min I was already back home. The good thing is that this shows how I'm improving my condition. Unfortunately it also means that the campus is getting too small for me.. ;-)


So, no to my diet, which I did not follow as I should.
On Tuesday I ate some cereals with yogurt and fruits. I didn't had lunch but I went out for dinner and I ate a huuuuge amount of delicious shrimps. And a vanilla ice with chocolate at the end. Damned temptations!


Yesterday I did even worse: I ate some fruits for breakfast. I went out for lunch to eat fries fish, some rice and legumes (N.B. FRIED fish.. a nogo...). And when I got back home I was hungry again so that i decided to finish the last two pieces of bred with tons of cheese. :-(


Today I tried to repair a bit to the damage by eating some salad for lunch (I had no time for breakfast). In the evening I made a soup. And I drunk over the whole day a water that apparently should help to loose weight and flaten the belly (as so far nothing in my weight changed... I'm still at 55 kg..):

21 days to go


Hello dears,

It's now the 3rd day that I'm actually managing to do my workout as wished.
Today I was able to run for 29 minutes without having to stop. For me it was a great success! :-)
After that I went back home ad followed the youtube videos which I posted the other day. I also did 150 sit ups and (only) 20 push-ups (and we are talking about the women push ups... the situation here is very bad..).

So my menu of Sunday was based on a single meal (I slept until late, therefore I was not hungry): I made a salad with tuna, a bit of rice, salad, cabbage and carrots. I used a little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper. I also made me pineapple juice with some strange leave which I found in the supermarket.

Today, as I went out to work, I had a more equilibrated diet.
Morning: some cereals with pieces of melon, papaya and a small fruit yogurt plus an acerola juice with a spoon of sugar (maybe I should find a substitute for sugar..).

Lunch: little bit of rice (2 spoons), 3 fillets of chicken, some salad and an pineapple piece.

Dinner: a fruit salad (papaya and guava) and a small soup. A green tea with a little bit of honey.

During the whole day I drunk my 1.5 L water bottle. I have to learn to drink this bottle twice...

So, that's it! :-)

Week 12

Hello dears!


Here I am, 24 days before I have my flight back to ZH.
In this last week I was working in the greenhouse and in the lab the whole time... But today I forced to go out to run. As it is raining cats and dogs, I went out for only about 20 min (actually, it's not because of the rain, but because I couldn't breath anymore..). I also decided to change my diet: I went out to buy all kind of legumes and fruits. I will try to avoid all kind of sweet and salty things (so the popcorn of yesterday and the biscuits of today are definitively to be cancelled.. ehm..) and try to not eat bred or pasta (which is very difficult, as I am half italian). The only kind of carbohydrates I'll eat is rice (in moderate quantities, of course).
I'll also try to not eat after 6pm and try to do my exercises in the morning, before breakfast.
Well, today I didn't follow my plan at all. But, I'm sure, I'll manage to do that. And I'll officially start tomorrow with my new plan "GET BACK IN SHAPE IN 3 WEEKS".


Goals:
- have a presentable bud and nice legs at the end of the three weeks
- reduce my cellulite
- loose 3 kg


Today my measurements (always done in the morning before eating) are: 55kg, B:85.5, W: 64, H: 94.5, T: 53.5.
Compared to last week, not so much changed as I was: 55 kg, B:86, W: 65, H: 93, T: 53.


I'll try to do good exercises for all my body (sit ups, push ups, exercises for the legs and mainly for my wobbling bud).

I'm not sure if I'll manage, but I'll also try to write down every day what I ate.
Today, for e.g. I ate some cornflakes in the afternoon (I woke up very late..) and after dinner some biscuits (for sure at least 300 kcal) . For dinner I made two small pieces of red cow meat with some olive oil, tomatoes, olives, a green unidentified leave, some garlic and ginger.
I'm still eating the biscuits (I should really stop it, damned!) and I'll probably eat a passion fruit later on, as I'm still hungry... :-( I have to learn to drink at least 2 L of water every day, and when I'm tired of water I'll make me some green tea or drink a juice (self-made, possibly with no or only a little little bit of sugar).
I hope this plan is gonna work. At least, I have lost 3 kg so far, which is already a start!

Week 11 - 27 days to go - shit!

Ok, I have to admit, my plan is not working anymore.
I didn't had time to do exercises (I went once out for running last week, that's it), I'm eating like a pig during lunchtime, my bud is still looking like a jelly-kind creature and I totally lost my aim from my eyes. Therefore I have to rescue my intent and try to achieve my goal in 27 days.
So, tonight I started with my exercises: 100 sit-ups, 100 bud exercises (50 standing, 50 lying on the floor), 50 leg lifts, 50 thigh lifts, 15 push ups (no comment, please), 50 waist exercises (by staying in dog position I contract my waist, 50 times each side).


Last time I measured my self was last Saturday: 55 kg, B: 86, W: 65, H: 93, T: 53. The week before, right after my holidays, I was 55 kg, B:86, W: 64.5, H: 94, T: 53.5.
Now I am: 55kg, B:86, W: 65, H: 93, T: 53.


I'll try to do my exercises every day, and try to run at least 3 times a week. Let's see.
I'll not fly back to CH if I don't loose at least other 2 kg! ;-)

Week 7 and Week 10

Hello dears!


I was in Holidays the last two weeks, so I couldn't update the blog.
I really think that the only one reading (maybe) this Blog, is my friend Naby.
However, let's get back to the important things.
Before I left for Holidays my main physical activities were my work in the field and dancing samba in my room (or at least something similar to samba).
Then I went to travel... And, of course, I eat like a pig. I went to Salvador de Bahia and I tried many moquecas (a typical plate with fish or seafood) and other very tasty and fatty things. A week later I went to Rio, and my diet got even worse... The (only) good thing is that I used to walk a lot through the cities. So, let's see how my weight and measurements developed:


In Week 6 I was: 54.5 kg, B: 85, W:63, H: 93, T: 53
In Week 7, before I went to travel, my measurements were: 54 kg, B: 85, W: 63.5, H: 93, T: 54.
And now, in Week 10, after have completely forgotten about my goal, I am: 55 kg, B: 86, W: 64.5, H: 94, T: 53.5


It seems that the damage was not too big. However I still have to loose 3 kg to get back to my ideal weight.. I'm just a bit afraid that, by loosing these last 3 kg (if I would ever be able to do that!), I may loose my boobs completely. ;-)
I still have 5 weeks to get back to CH, so I really have to start again with my exercises. No excuses. Actually, I'll start with them, right now! :-)

Week 6

Hello dears!


I now, week 7 is in front of our doors... But only today I've got internet back! In fact internet in this place seems to have an independent life.. It comes and goes as it likes!
Let's come to the point: this week I weighted 54.5 kg, and I measured B: 85 (mhmm, I start to be afraid that they will vanish completely...) W: 63, H: 93 and T: 53.


Last week I measured: 55.5 kg; B: 86, W:64, H: 94; T: 54.


This week it was carnival here in Brazil. This means hours of dancing SAMBA!

I have to admit, it is a great way to make some exercise! I'll try to go out more often for dancing, as it is definitively more fun than to go out to run... ;-)

Delay

Hello Dears!


This last week was totally crazy for me. I had a lot of work, they tried to convert me to Krsna consciousness, I had a noisy neighbor, no sleep and... I totally lost the sense of time! Today it's Monday!
Well, in this last week I was working in the field in the first days and for the rest, staying in the lab until very late... I really start to think I'll never be able to reach my goal.. :-(
But, hope dies at last.. so, I still have 2 months to get a nice bud! :-)
Anyway, I'll do my measurements tomorrow... As I ate like a pig in the days where I was working in the field, I'm a bit afraid of the results... :-S
As soon as I'm back here in school (I have no internet at home anymore..), I'll post the results of Week6!

Week 5

Hello dears,

I've not forgot you, I swear! I know that it's already Wednesday, but I was away for field work, so I had no intrenet access... However, my no-diet and try-to-get-back-in-shape program seems to work.
This week, I measured me on Sunday morning, I was:
55.5 kg, B: 86 (this has really to stop!); W: 64; H: 94; T: 54. I didn't loose a lot, but I also had absolutely no time to do exercises.
My main exercise this week was digging holes in the earth and transport plant material. But, at least I didn't gain weight! :-)



Last week I was : 56 kg, B: 86.5, W:65, H: 94, T: 54.
I know I should suggest new exercises, I'm sorry. But try to dig holes the whole day, it may work!

Week 4

Hello my dears!


This last week I was totally unable to do any sport. But as I had to work hardly for my project (collecting around 500L of soil and planting 960 plants in 320 pots), I think I had my dose of physical effort! :-)
As usual here in Brazil, I kept on eating a lot of meat. I tried to avoid potatoes and beans and concentrated more on fruits and legumes. But I couldn't stand the temptation to eat a huge plate of pasta the other day. :-(
However, let's see how my body developed: 56 kg; B: 86.5 (at least they didn't shrunk more!); W: 65; H: 94; T: 54.



Last week I was still: 56.5 kg, B: 86.5, W:64, H: 96, T: 55.

I promise that this week I'll start again with the exercises! Also because otherwise I'll never get rid of my ass... ;-)

Week 3

Hello my dears,


today I felt all my muscles in my legs.. And as tomorrow I have to work in the field, I avoided to torture my body again today.
So, let's see the results of my third week:
I'm now 56.5 kg; B: 86.5 (I really hope they now stop to shrinking!); W: 64, H: 96 (mhmmm... this part could really start to shrink!), T: 55. (Everything always in cm)


Last week I was still: 57 kg, B: 87, W:66, H: 96, T: 55.5.


So far it seems that my get-back-in-shape-without-a-real-plan is working! Even if I wish that my boobs would stay the same...

Every start is hard

Hello dears!


So, today I finally managed to start with the running. I wanted to start yesterday already, but I was really not inspired, therefore I just had a 30 min walk...
But today I told to myself that I have no excuses! I tried too many delicious (and sweet) things in these last days, so I really felt guilty.
I was motivated after we finished to prepare pots for an experiment (I'm a biologist and I'm now working here with a PhD student), I was full of energy, positive about this first run. I thought my energy would be enough for at least 30 min of running... Obviously I was really too optimistic, as after the first 10 min I already started to feel like dying. But I kept on running for 8:40 min more. I got back to my apartment and I did my exercises:
150 situps, 20 pushups (Yes, I know, this is not so much..), 50/leg no-idea-how-to-call-it for my buddy (lying with my belly on the floor, I pushed my bended leg towards the roof) and 50/leg for my legs (25 /leg side leg lifts and 25/leg inner thig lifts).
I'll keep on trying new exercises. Let's hope that they will work!

Side Leg Lift: Lie down on the floor on your left side, extending your left arm straight on the floor, with your head resting on the arm. Put your right arm near your chest, in front, with the palm down, for support. Make sure to align your hips, so that the outer hip faces the ceiling, while the lower hip is against the floor. Bend your left leg slightly, to provide balance and support. Now, tightening the muscles of your right leg, lift it up, for a count of 2 and then lower it back down to a count of 4. Repeat 8-12 times, making sure not use momentum. Now turn over and repeat with the other leg. Once your leg muscles become stronger, you can do 3 sets per side. This leg exercise is great for strengthening and toning the outer thigh and hip.

Inner Thigh Lift: Lie down on the floor on your left side. This time, lift up your upper torso by resting your left elbow and forearm on the floor. Place your right hand in front of you for support. And bend your right knee, placing your right foot in front or behind the left thigh. Check to see that the inner thigh of your left leg is facing the ceiling. Now lift the left leg up 5-6 inches off the floor, and lower down again. Repeat 8-12 times, and turn over and repeat with the other leg. You can increase the sets to 3 once you become stronger. This exercise targets the inner thighs.

Week 2

Hello dears!


I still hope that someone will actually read this blog...
Anyway. The secret of my success this week was: stress. I had to prepare everything for a practical work in Brazil, so I was running the whole time through Zurich.
I actually didn't had a lot of time for exercises... On Monday I had my flight to Brasilia, where I arrived yesterday. For this reason I also couldn't eat so much (the food in the plan was awful as always).
So, stress and less food brought following results:
57 kg (I have now a simple balance, so I cannot measure until grams anymore); B: 87; W: 66; H: 96; T: 55.5


Last week I was still: 58.1 kg; B: 88.5; W: 67; H: 97; T: 58


As soon as I got a bit settled in, I'll try to start to run in the evenings and do my exercises.
Let's see if I'll be back in shape for my return in Switzerland! :-)

Week 1

This week I found out how hard it is to chose an orange instead of a biscuit, to eat less potatoes and more legumes, to drink water and ... water! I have to admit, I totally failed to adapt even only a little bit my diet. For this reason I tried  to eat a bit less. But most of all I tried to do every day, or at least every second day 1 hour of sport.
At least in this, I was successful. I usually did 30-40 min of biking and then sit-ups, exercises for the arms and the legs.
If someone knows a great exercise to get back in shape (arms, belly, legs, ass, ...), just leave a comment! I would be grateful!


So, after 1 week of eating a little bit less and 4 sessions of 1 hour of sports at home I reached following results: 58.1 kg (ehm..); B-88.5; W-67; H-97; T-58


(Last Week I was:  58.2 kg; B-89.5; W-68.5; H-96; T-57)


Obviously this first week was not very successful... But I hope the next week will be better! :-)


Here some exercises I used this week for the legs and the ass.






For the sit ups I used a similar bench. What I thought good of this bench, is that I was training all abdominal muscles at once.

Day 0

Hello dears,
(I still hope that someone will follow this blog.. ;-) )

after a few days of laziness I thought that it's time now to start with my "get back in shape" plan.
As I'm not fat, I just have to loose the few kg I don't like and mainly get firm. I have a very bad adipose tissue and so cellulite feels very welcome in my body.. And now I really want to get rid of it!
To monitor how good my plan is working, I'll write at the end of each week how much I weigh (always in the morning) and how much I'm measuring (in cm) around the breast (B), the waist (W), the hips (H) and the thighs (T). Moreover I'll write how much and what sports I did every day. I will not follow a diet, I will just drink more water than usual to reach at least 2 L per day, and try to eat less sweets and salty things and more fruits and legumes. But if I'm out for dinner, I'll surely not avoid to eat a delicious dessert! ;-) I'll try to compensate  my "peccati di gola" (in english I think they are called "gluttonous sin") doing sport.

I started today with 58.2 kg; B-89.5; W-68.5; H-96; T-57.
As I didn't had a lot of time to do sports, I just did 40 min of exercise bike and then 15 minutes of sit-ups and exercises for my ass:
